flower fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion.....

 

Last nights fashion show at 

Donnington Grove Hotel went really well.....our pedestal flowers were two of the raffle prizes....one lovely lady got this one.....

 This room had the most amazing painted wallpaper in it..

all the displays had pacific blue and white o'hara roses, hydrangeas, Schubert alliums, black parrot tulips, burdundy ranunculus and masses of twigs and foliage from the garden in them...the O'hara roses are scented and just divine..It was hard to see where the wallpaper ended and our flowers began!!!

The drinks reception room has a painted ceiling of the sky......our little cut glass vases filled with more roses, apple blossom, jasmine  and paper-white narcissus..

...I was fascinated by this huge convex mirror in the hall.. it must have weighed a ton!!!

If you didn't make it you missed a great evening and all for many good causes....Many thanks to Carrie for setting it all up.

Four things.....

The pile of cards with vouchers for the fashion show goody bags....we could have made twenty hand ties in the time it took to complete this simple task which involved three trips out...for printer ink...for extra white card....and for more ribbon...keep calm, dear!!!

 ...let them eat cake.....chocolate or fruit??

...our new favourite thing...Dicentra....be still our bleeding hearts....

late evening in the garden......seedlings are crammed in every undercover space......the plan for where the sweet peas are going is ready...the compost bins are built..they are BIG...you could hide a small army in them.......pictures laters....xx

What'ya doing Monday?

We will be at Donnington Grove Hotel with Luna Boutiques for their fabulous CHARITY fashion show on Monday 29th April....supping champagne and downing canapes......if you want to go be QUICK!!!..the tickets are going fast.....
Fabulous flowers ( which you may win in the raffle....do you have a space in your house big enough?).....gorgeous fashions.......rails will be set up ready for you to buy......all set in the most sumptuous setting of Donnington Grove Hotel.....what else is there to do on a Monday night?
